Our garments are brought to life in Jaipur, India, by a women-owned and women-run manufacturing unit built on the foundation of sustainability, ethical values and generational craftmanship. This family run business was founded in the 1970’s and has since been passed down with love and care. Avneet, who has worked in the business for nearly three decades, now leads the team - continuing her family's legacy while shaping its future at heart.

Fast fashion often overlooks the hands behind the work, threatening both the planet and the preservation of time-honoured artistry. That’s why we are proud to partner with a unit that is Sedex Fair Trade Certified and SMETA 4-Pillar audited - a globally recognised benchmark in ethical production.
These audits ensure that the people making our garments are paid fairly, work in safe conditions and are treated with the respect they deserve.

Our makers are protected by

• Fair wages and reasonable working hours

• Safe, clean and respectful workplaces

• Zero tolerance for forced or child labour

• Strong environmental protections - from water recycling to solar power

• Ethical sourcing and anti-corruption measures

Leading with sustainability

Avneet and her team have made noteworthy steps towards environmental change. Nearly all plastic has been eliminated from the factory and their goal of becoming zero waste is well underway. Solar panels provide most of their energy needs and water is recycled and harvested for use in garment washing. Leftover fabric is never discarded – its recycled, re-sold or repurposed. All dyeing is done using Azo-Free, non-toxic dyes to ensure a cleaner impact on the environment.

Women leading change

Avneet is not only a leader in business but also a changemaker in her community. In a male dominated industry, she works every day to close the gender gap, and today women make up 40% of her workforce - a number that continues to grow.

In rural India, as in so many places around the world, women are the heart of their homes and communities. They carry stories, skills and strength, often with little recognition. While navigating systems that limit their opportunities, they strive for financial independence, care for their families and uphold cultural traditions. It’s why we’re proud to partner with leaders like Avneet - women whose work embodies resilience, empowerment and change.

Why it matters

Our partnership with Avneet and her team reflects everything we stand for – slow, soulful fashion that uplifts communities and protects the earth.

This is a collaboration built on trust, shared values and respect. And it is woven into every piece we create together.
