Australia
We offer standard and express shipping on all Australian orders. All orders are shipped from our Brisbane studio. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed on the next business day.
International
International orders are charged a flat rate of $35 AUD. If you don’t see your country listed at checkout, or if you’d like us to provide a personalised shipping quote, simply send us an email and we’ll arrange it for you.
Please note:
- Any taxes or duties incurred are the responsibility of the recipient
- If duties are unpaid and the parcel is returned to our studio, you will be charged the shipping fee, and a store credit will be issued for the remaining balance
- We recommend checking your local import duty and tax regulations before placing your order
Order Processing and Tracking
- Orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days
- Pre-order items will ship once they arrive from our makers
- During peak periods (e.g. holidays) dispatch may take a little longer
- Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive an email with your tracking details

Please note: If your parcel is delivered with a signature release, we cannot refund or replace it once the courier has marked it as delivered.
Pre-order notes
If your order contains a pre-order item, the whole order will be held and shipped together once the pre-order piece is ready. If you’d like in-stock items sent earlier, please place a separate order. Pre-order items will ship once they arrive from our makers.
Estimated shipment for the Saphira Dress (Desert Sand – Navy Belt) is late November 2025. Due to the recent monsoon rains in Jaipur slowing the dyeing process, this dress will now be ready to ship in late November. As a small thank you for your understanding, all pre-orders will be upgraded to complimentary express shipping once they dispatch.
Gift Wrapping and Eco-Friendly Packaging
Every garment is thoughtfully packed in an upcycled sari bag, sewn by the women of Sewing the Seeds. Each unique bag includes an impact card that connects you directly to the woman who crafted your piece.
Our thank you cards are embedded with seeds from Australian farms - instead of being discarded, they can be planted - a little gift that grows long after your parcel arrives.

Returns
Returns Policy
As a small, independent brand, every piece is crafted with care and intention by our artisans. Unlike large scale corporations, we do not mass-produce or carry excess inventory. This allows us to stay thoughtful and responsible in our process – but also means we are unable to absorb the costs associated with refunds. To support our commitment to quality and fair production, we offer store credits or size exchanges rather than refunds. This ensures you have the flexibility to find something you love while helping us to continue creating purpose driven designs.

Faulty Items
- Refunds are only issued for items confirmed as faulty
- Items that have been worn are not considered faulty
- If you believe your item is faulty, contact us at hello@shopwithelan.com.au within 7 days of receiving it
- Please include photos or videos showing the fault
- Once approved, you will receive a replacement or if unavailable, a store credit or refund to your original payment method
Every piece is made by hand and small variations in embroidery, colour or texture are part of the beauty of artisanal production - not faults.
Store Credits & Exchanges
- Store credits never expire
- Size exchanges must be initiated within 7 days of receiving your order
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs - original shipping fees are non-refundable
- We recommend using a tracked shipping method - With Élan is not liable for lost or damaged returns
- Items must be returned in original condition, unworn, unwashed, unaltered and with all tags attached
- Please take care when trying on garments - we cannot accept returns that are marked, soiled or damaged
Returns Procedure
- Email us at hello@shopwithelan.com.au within 7 days of receiving your order
- Once your return is approved, we will provide the return address
- Clearly mark your parcel with your full name and order number
- Returns are processed within 3-5 business days of receiving the parcel
Sale Items & Discount Codes
- Sale items are final and not eligible for returns, credits or exchanges
- Discount codes must be applied at checkout – they cannot be added after your order is placed
Order Cancellations & Pre-Orders
Order Cancellations: If your order has not shipped, we may be able to accommodate a cancellation. Once shipped, cancellations are not possible.
Pre-Orders: Pre-orders can only be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase. After this period, cancellations are not permitted, as materials are allocated and production begins immediately.
